Thunder Hero of the GameCongratulations to Thomas MacJarrett!

Thomas was the Adirondack Thunder’s Hero of the Game on Novermber 29th. His family represented (Daughter Tanja on the left and Granddaughter Tabor) him as the Hero of the Game.

Tanja (Thomas’s daughter) wrote, “My hero’s name is Thomas MacJarrett. My dad was an amazing man. He retired from the military with the rank of major after serving his country for 20 years in both the navy and the army. He served the navy from 1976-1980. And the army from 1984-2000. My dad was also a member of bay ridge rescue squad for a few years. My dad was seriously the nicest person and would give his shirt off his back to help anyone in need. I Believe my dads a hero because all he’s done to help the community and this country. My dad passed away in 2017 from an accident. This would mean a lot to me and my mom who do attended every hockey game.”

The Adirondack Veteran’s Peer-to-Peer Program has partnered with the Adirondack Thunder for tickets to all of the home games. We are in need of nominations for the not only the tickets but for the “Hero of the Game.” The hero and their family will also receives popcorn and drinks (soda, water).
